About Oak Trust Properties

Oak Trust Properties was founded in the greater Charleston area in 2009, when property management in the Lowcountry was still an afterthought inside real estate brokerages. We built something different from the start.

No sales division. No franchise model. No national brand collecting fees while a local operator figures it out. Oak Trust Properties exists for one purpose: managing residential rental properties in the Charleston and Lowcountry area with the depth of experience and accountability that only comes from doing this — and only this — for over a decade.

We have no agenda except yours.
A lot of property management companies in this market are connected to brokerages that profit when you sell. That creates a conflict most owners never think to ask about. We don't have that conflict. We don't have a sales team. We don't have an exit strategy. We have one job: make your property perform and protect you from the problems you don't see coming.

That means qualified tenants who are screened with real criteria — not just whoever fills the vacancy fastest. It means maintenance that gets handled before it becomes a bill you weren't expecting. It means you stay informed without having to ask. And it means that when something genuinely hard comes up — a nonpaying tenant, a legal situation, a property condition dispute — you're working with a team that has seen it before and knows exactly what to do.

We're selective. On purpose.
We don't take on every owner or every property that comes through the door. That's not a limitation — it's how we maintain the standard every client on our roster deserves. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you that directly. If we are, you'll have a team that treats your investment like a business and stays accountable to you for the long term.

Business Development Manager

With more than a decade in property management, I’ve been helping clients navigate the industry since 2010. Having lived in the Summerville and Charleston area since 1985, I’ve seen the region grow and change firsthand, which gives me a strong understanding of the local market and what makes it tick. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me outside. I love mountain biking local trails, hiking to great views, or getting out on the water to surf whenever I can. The Lowcountry lifestyle and its unique character are a big part of why I enjoy what I do, and they motivate me to deliver great service while building lasting relationships in the community. Let’s connect and talk about how I can help with your property management needs.
